"Lovely house in a good location for seeing all the sights. Host is attentive but not obtrusive and the little touches make all the difference. Derry is a great city, the guided walk is highly recommended. We did the Giants Causeway by train and bus for the scenery and Malin Head was amazing. If we’re back this way then we will look you up again"

"Close to everything in the city host was great gave us recommendations on places to go and see very responsive. Clean house felt like home."

"First, I have to say Michael was an excellent host. I got sick the first night there (obviously picked up in Dublin). Soon almost all of our party was down. Michael went above and beyond to help us, from offering to pick up grocery items, delivering wood and briquettes for the fire, and even bringing a pot of stew his mother made for us. "We had a brilliant few days here. Gorgeous house equipped with all the mod cons you could wish for - enough tvs and WiFi to keep teenagers happy - even an airfryer! "This property was in a perfect location for us: a short trip to all of the Derry sites and an easy drive to the coast to see the Giant's Causeway, Bushmill's, Dunluce Castle, and Royal Portrush Golf. "The Shipquay Boutique Hotel is amazing. Were to start? The staff of this hotel are incredible. Hands down the most friendly and knowledgeable staff I have ever met. They had restaurant suggestions, maps on where to go jogging in the morning, and shopping suggestions. The breakfast was delicious - the best scone I had on my trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland. The room and bathroom were lovely - had a great night sleep. "

"Our stay was amazing! The location is wonderful, in the heart of the city and right beside the wall. The host is genuinely great and he made our stay very comfortable, always having an amazing breakfast in the mornings. Thank you for making our trip here as beautiful as it was!"

"Lovely boutique hotel right in the centre of Derry. Charming delightful staff, all very helpful. Robyn at reception has an award for best receptionist and certainly more than lives up to this! I left my phone and iPad chargers in the hotel - she kindly posted them to our next hotel. A million thanks!"

Amazing

"We had an overnight stay last month and we definitely will be back for longer. Could not fault one thing about this hotel. The staff are so friendly, food was amazing and the atmosphere at the bar with the entertainment was brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, our room was big as well. I never do reviews but had to do one for here. Thanku x"
