"Friendly staff. Central location. Hotel was a bit outdated. AC made a terrible noise. Room was next to the ac of another building, which compounded the noise level. Staff was unable to move us claiming the hotel was sold out."
"We absolutely loved this hotel. I cant think of one thing I didn't enjoy about it. We ate at one of the restaurants in the hotel and the food was amazing especially the shrimp tacos. Whenever we make our way back to New York this will without a doubt be where we'll be staying."

The only negative to the property is that the building is in desperate need of upgrades. Peeling walls and wallpaper. AC units are bad. Some of the door locks don’t work.
We love Empire. It’s in a great location. A few upgrades would go a long way."
