2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 850 sq ft historic cottage built in the 1930s. It features a fully equipped chef's kitchen with a gas range and copper sink, a spacious living room with large windows offering scenic views, a sunny private back patio with an online gas grill, a large outdoor dining area, and plenty of comfortable seating. You can enjoy spectacular views of Mingus Mountain, famous high desert starry night skies, and bird watching from the peaceful front porch. The cottage is equipped with 1G Wi-FI. The master bedroom has a tuft and needle mattress with a custom-made king bed, along with a private bathroom featuring a 1930s cast iron bathtub and original pink tiles. Additionally, there is a newly constructed second bathroom off the laundry area with a shower and skylight and a comfortable and private queen bedroom. The original coal shed has been converted into a game room with colorful lighting, a full-size antique pool table, a fridge, and AC. There are two off-street parking spaces accessible from the alley, one of which has a 220v EV charging outlet. The cottage, nearly 100 years old, has been fully renovated, but you can still expect squeaky floors, sticky doors, and an uncommon layout, retaining all its original charm and character. Situated across from a vibrant desert wash in a small town, it's common to see javelina, coyotes, skunks, raccoons, quail, and other birds, as well as bees, butterflies, spiders, snakes, and many other creatures on our street or in our yard. Wonderful place to stay in Clarkdale!

The Quail Cottage is so cute! I'd love to come back and stay longer. My mom and I had a brief stay, but the house was adorable and very comfortable, would be a great place for a girls get away, couples or whoever you like to travel with!

Had a wonderful experience staying here! Celestine was extremely attentive and helpful and the house itself was perfect for what we were looking for. A quaint house in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the main attractions. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for the Verde Train... The location is great, the space has some original pieces like wood floors and lovely updates like dimming lights and fully upgraded and well stocked kitchen. The game shed was a great bonus.

We had rez for the Verde Railroad and this cute, clean cottage was super close and just perfect! Everything was just as described, and the next time we come to Cottonwood, we're staying here!

Wonderful stay

This place was even better than expected. Its adorable and spacious. It over looks a wash so it feels a little excluded and the backyard was amazing! Only thing I noticed is that there is not fence in the back yard to keep pets and children out of the alley. Otherwise it was really wonderful!
