Mountain bikers can start tours of the "Volksbank Arena Harz" routes here, and those who have not brought their own bike can easily rent a mountain bike or e-bike here. The small town is also a fantastic starting point for motorcyclists for the most beautiful trips.
In winter, Torfhaus is an interesting destination for skiers, cross-country skiers and sledging enthusiasts: some beautiful trails, a drag lift for skiers and a toboggan lift exclusively for sledging enthusiasts promise varied snow fun.
