"The hotel itself is beautiful and you can spend a good chunk of time admiring the decor. The staff are so inviting, helpful and friendly. We loved the secret arcade room hidden behind a bookshelf, and the hot tub and sauna in the rainforest. There is a lot to do at the hotel, including a private inlet to the beach on the property. Our room was cozy and we loved the retro vibe. We only stayed two nights but will be returning for longer next time!"

"#59 at headlands had a beautiful view, nice balcony, close proximity to the outdoor washroom and laundry facilities. The bed was comfortable. The service was great. I loved having coffee and tea available throughout the day and the continental breakfast was delicious - flaky fresh baked croissants and cinnamon buns as well as hearty bread from the common loaf - local bakery. The Thursday morning yoga on the beach was a wonderful touch. I really appreciated the daily texts checking in to see if we needed anything and letting us know of any restaurant updates. The evening cookies were also really nice. One small change I would wish for is the room to have screens to windows"
