"This wasn't my first stay at the Lodge. I stay there when in Ely because it is definitely the best in the area. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is superb and amazingly affordable. I wish there was a Lodge everywhere I travel."

"Beautiful, peaceful lakeshore resort! Jay was there to greet us and he even built a fire for us every night. No extra charge for the wood. Amenities include canoes, kayaks, and even a paddle boat! Life jackets are provided as well but I'd bring my own to ensure a good fit and comfort. We will return if we stay in the Ely area again!"
