If it weren’t for the kindness of the host, who accommodated us for an early check-in and late checkout, I would’ve given this zero stars. It’s totally rundown, looks like it hasn’t been power washed in 20 years, as soon as you walk up it smells like mold. The listing doesn’t tell you that it’s on a main street. The inside has rotting walls with actual holes, you can smell the mold and in one of the bedrooms it smelled so toxic like cat urine and chemicals - no one could sleep in there. The streaming TV did not work because the Wi-Fi was so weak. The shower barely got hot and part of the bathroom floor is rotting.
I’m not really sure about the linens - whether the sheets and blankets were actually clean, one of the blankets had a bunch of stains, and the pillowcases looked like they still had makeup on them. There’s one window a/c unit in one of the bedrooms and a lot of fans that actually didn’t work. The price we paid for one night was definitely not worth it.
It was nice to be on the lake outback, but other than that, I would never revisit this place. I felt like I was camping, there were bugs everywhere. I never give negative feedback or reviews, but I felt this was warranted.
