"We had a lovely stay at the cottage and would happily return. The location is peaceful and perfect for a family break, surrounded by beautiful countryside and great walks nearby. It was an ideal base for exploring the Forest of Dean and the surrounding areas.The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, and well equipped, and it felt very welcoming after long days out. Our children especially loved seeing the sheep and chickens greeting us at the front door, it made the stay feel extra special and really added to the countryside experience.Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a charming setting. Thank you for having us!"

"Rooms at the front of the hotel need blackout curtains as there is a powerful street light directly outside. Also buses stop beneath these rooms, some stopping there with engines running for five or more minutes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Owl Barn. The house is beautiful, in a lovely location and very clean and well equipped. The downstairs bedroom was great for one of our party who is disabled. A couple of rails in the bathroom would have made it perfect. We would happily return."
