Unique and charming inn!

Room decoration is super. Bed is so comfy. Restaurant foods are excellent. Only down is that entry is very narrow to get into the property.

It was all good.

My husband and I didn't know what to expect. We pulled up right after dark and we were greeted with a hotel that resembled a castle all lit up and beautiful. The staff (Tom and Tom) were outstanding and incredibly helpful. We decided to stay in and eat/drink in the restaurant which was had great food. We were so sad to leave and wished we would have had a couple more nights. Our room was clean and had an amazing view. The hotel is located in the Lake District and everything about our stay was...

Stayed for one night while traveling south. Room was clean. Parking was on site. Breakfast was good.

This was the best stay on our two-week trip. The room was the biggest, and it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. And our host, Mick, was wonderful to talk to. Plus, we got to participate in Quiz Night! I was surprised to enter a B&B through the bar, but once I figured it out, that was fine, too. A most enjoyable evening and a great stay.

We had a very lovely time Mike and Elena were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and the conservatory and outside dining space was brilliant. The food was delicious and plenty of it ( too much) We will definitely go back The locals were very friendly to strangers

This is a hotel in a small community on the costal estuary. Not a 5 star Marriott, but you wouldn’t want one in this quaint town.

Wonderful bed and breakfast to stay during weekend getaways. I was a tourist from the USA and the property owners were polite, attentive and courteous. The room was spacious with windows overlooking the lake. I would highly recommend this location for you future stays at the Lake District!

Lovely old hotel with helpful staff. Wonderful beds, quiet. Restaurant serves hearty food.

Really enjoyed our stay at this modernized Victorian boutique hotel. Staff and owners were a major factor in making the stay so memorable. The updated property is immaculate, and has an excellent location in Keswick. Highly recommended as long as you don’t mind climbing stairs.

Victor and Johanna were so friendly and warm, we felt valued. The breakfasts were delicious! The hotel was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the easy parking. Being so close to restaurants and the town center made walking about so easy. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

This is a beautiful and cozy house, aged but well maintained. The host is really kind and nice. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, breakfast is fantastic. Kids love to play with the dog. Everything is wonderful, highly recommended.

We really felt pampered here. Loved the area. Great if you’re a dog lover. Food was excellent and bar was warm and cozy.
