We loved the online check in and room code, never having to see anyone and not being rushed or havibg to wait was amazing. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. We walked the arboretum garden at sunset and even in the fall, it was beautiful. We will definitely make this an annual trip!
This place exceeded every expectation! It is absolutely beautiful! The staff was so kind, quick, and attentive. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!
Loved this property, easy check in, clean and spacious cabin for our family. There is plenty to explore within the park and conveniently 15-20mins from Winston-Salem activities. We would stay here again without hesitation.
The cabin was rustic, but it was clean and comfortable. The park was fabulous!

Very good experience with housing and some amenities although advertised as cooked to order breakfasts available, restaurant and bar, these are not available unless your having a catered event. Golf course was in great shape. I think with the addition of a new clubhouse in the fall the restaurant/bar should be an excellent addition to the property. There is a Harris Teeter Grocery store within minutes of the resort. I will book again!!
The stay was good. It was a little scary at night because there are no lights. The stay served its purpose we needed somewhere to crash for a few hours before the next tournament day. But this place is great for a couples get away girls getaway. If you nature this is the place.
Vintage charm, large room, comfy bed, quiet area. Beautiful grounds and property with great outdoor amenities in the park.
Cool, vintage bathroom but the shower and toilet were low water pressure and there was no chair in the room to sit, put shoes on, etc. We dealt with it just fine but some people may not like that.
We will definitely return and stay longer!
The unit was definitely old, multi purposed and changed through the years. With that being said it was quiet, clean and convenient. I do wish the key code information would have emailed earlier but it did arrive in time.
This was the perfect autumn stay. Its quiet and out of the way. Everything felt luxurious and special. We were given key codes and didn't have to interact with anyone, which was great honestly. Only thing we could mention was that there was not a lot of sound proofing with our neighbors upstairs and from the hallway. Not a deterrent for sure, but we did get woken up by a child in the hallway. Again, not a reason to not stay, just honesty. I definitely reccomend it and we will be back!

Nice room Needs big upgrades
It was a cute place located within a park. The room itself was nice. It was good that we could walk around the gardens. The bathroom was a bigger issue. It was very outdated. The plumbing was a big issue. There was no water pressure to the sink, shower, and toilet. It took 3 times to flush the toilet. I had to go the bathroom in the lobby. There were no shelves to put your personal belongings. They advertized as a B&B, but there was no breakfast or coffee. The golf course clubhouse was under construction.
We liked the room and it has pretty surroundings, but it needs a lot of work
Loved how beautiful the manor is inside and out. Very quiet i would suggest it to others. My only down side was we didnt get the other B in the BNB experience.
Expedia shows they offer breakfast and they have pictures of breakfast but they do not offer breakfast. Gave them a call around 8am to ask and they said they dont provide breakfast. So that was my only let down. Other then that i loved the whole stay

I loved it before it was bought - guessing it went corporate- never saw a staff member the entire stay- emailed me a combo number to get in and same for my room- had to set up the tv myself - that’s how I found I needed the internet password— I love this place- I have stayed here for years- I want to see it survive - there’s always been minimal service which amass done but there’s always been someone there to say hi - nice breakfast in morning- not now - coffee maker in room didn’t work - praying they will step up / too beautiful to ruin- it was not worth all the taxes and fees and what I paid …..
I found The Manor to be an unexpected jewel. It sits in the middle of an incredible park right behind it is the parks Arboretum and there is a delightful wildflower path close by.
The room was on the small side. But it is perfect for a single traveler, or a couple the building itself is historic. Well-kept and lovely.
Service is interesting, because there is no check in desk. I was sent two codes via email and text with instructions on how to enter the building and enter my room. It’s a great concept and you never need to worry about losing a key.
The park that the hotel sits in has a gate and it felt very peaceful and secure. It does not automatically offer breakfast, but you can arrange for that through their website or calling.
The minute I walked in the room, I felt this fear, lovely place to come back to with my husband and explore the park thoroughly as well as the surrounding area.

The house was beautiful on the outside. I liked the old look of the interior. The bed was comfortable. I like a soft bed so for me it was fine. But if you like a firm bed room 321 is not for you. Now the room was fine but the bathroom on the other hand. The grout that was once white was dingy brown to dark brown all over. The prison style toilet was awful. The seat didn’t fit it. Water pressure was not good. When you have to flush no.1 twice to get it to go away and no2 9 times! There’s a problem. Sorry if some are offended by that. Put a normal toilet with a tank in the room! Also i know an old house like this has a smell, but you need to put in all new duct work and a system that filters that musty moldy smell out. If you have any kind of sinus issues. Don’t stay here. I was clogged the next morning. All said and done it wasn’t a horrible stay. But i can’t stay there again until some renovation to the plumbing, hvac and tile work is done. For the 155 dollars i paid for one night. Those things should not have been so obvious of issues. Location is great view was great. So here is hoping that you all do some of those things in the near future. Because that would get more people back there repeatedly. I know i would like to! But that dingy brown dark brown tile that you know was white. Just turned me off from wanting to stay again.
Great stay at the apartment! Was perfect for us given the location to the Rise facility and all of the restaurants in Clemmons/Lewisville/Bermuda Run area.

Historic beauty
My daughter and I had a lovely one night stay in rm. 323, as we were in this area for someone’s college graduation. The whole place is charmingly beautiful!
While you cannot actually see the lake (due to trees) as indicated in the ad, it’s a nice quiet atmosphere. The Executive Cottage was very clean but old. Has with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. We stayed one night while passing through town, but it was
