"Lovely stay here. Fantastic hotel, very helpful staff and excellent food. Stayed for 2 nights, had a room overlooking the river, I think the hotel has 3 buildings with rooms. Parked on site in their cave, very easy, and golf buggy to take luggage etc. excellent breakfast. Dog friendly. Would recommend and return m"

"I’ve stayed here twice, my only issue with this properly is the code/pin entry to the building & rooms, as sometimes they fail you can’t get in. I arrived at 2pm, but the desk is technically open at 4pm. There is a machine outside to check you in if the desk is closed. 1st booking was direct & received the codes. 2nd time via Expedia my booking ref number didn’t work & we nearly had to wait, was almost stuck. Luckily a guy from outside let us in with his code & called Sabrina. Whom opened the desk, we paid our taxes and she gave us our codes. The reception isn’t open 24/7. Sabrina & her team were very friendly, warm & made a huge difference as the first time there was a lady (April 2024) who was unfriendly and unhelpful… I paid for a late check out but was told on my last day, you can’t have it as the hotel is full. No refund of the extra fee. Her favourite word was NO! I’m not a fan of the code/pin entry system because, the first time the codes failed (I booked 3 rooms) I couldn’t even get back into the hotel. Luckily a guest came back and held the door open. I would have been stuck outside it was around 9pm. The codes can also fail on the bedrooms, if you enter quickly after a short period of time, you just have to wait for a bit and re-enter and it should work. Location is great for me, rooms are basic, pillows are average, bed is comfortable. Shower pressure is very good. Parking is free which is amazing. All of this is reflected in the price."

"Bedroom was acceptable but property lacking care and attention - surrounding garden area was overgrown with weeds. Breakfast was dreadfull and well overpriced! Manager attitude was far from hospitable. Don’t recommend at any price!"
