"We booked this place to celebrate my husband's Memorial Day weekend birthday -- just the two of us. We wanted time on the lake outside of the Charlotte Motor Speedway/Coca Cola experience I bought him for his birthday. The property exceeded our expectations -- so much so, we didn't eat a single meal out, opting to cook/grill out to maximize our time on the lake. We wanted for nothing. "My family & I were in NC for my nephew’s graduation. Jamie’s place was perfect for our stay! It was very cute, cozy, and clean! Beds and pillows were comfortable and neighborhood was quiet. While we weren’t there for the lake, it was a nice bonus to be able to look out the front windows and see the lake or sit on the front deck and enjoy it! Jamie was very easy to work with and answered any questions I had very quickly. House was well stocked with anything you would need. She even had a pitcher...

Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area."

"Jamie’s property is the perfect quiet getaway! The house is so cutely decorated and has everything you might need. Jamie was so helpful and responded quickly anytime we reached out to her. We were a group of 5 Moms looking for some relaxation and time together and it was perfect. We spent most of our time on the dock enjoying the peaceful cove of the lake and the kayaks. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We booked this property on a mission to go to Emerald Hollow Mine. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everyone kept saying it was one of the best stocked rentals we've been to. Plenty of seasonings which is a rare find with rentals! We enjoyed the porch and firepit. Would definitely rent again when we go back!"

My children loved running around and playing fishing from the dock, swimming, kayaking, all of it even the rainy days it was nice to hunker down and play games and watch movies . It was truly a blast. I'm so thankful we had amazing host who took care of us like family. Would defiantly recommend for family fun and a place to rest and relax."

"Not a shack but a well appointed bungalow which faced Lake Norman. The sunrises were beautiful. The bungalow was clean with comfortable bedding. The bathroom is small but upgraded with a waterfall shower head. The living space was open and suitable for my family and dog. The outdoor space was extraordinary. We ate outside and enjoyed all the decks. The fenced in yard was terrific for my dog. Very enjoyable experience."
