Quality Inn Middleburg Heights near Cleveland Airport

"I had one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever encountered at Quality Inn. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor, the pillows were torn and visibly unclean, and the door lock was broken, creating both hygiene and safety concerns. When I reported these issues, the staff offered me a different room. Unfortunately, the second room was not much better. It had a strong chlorine-like smell and showed similar cleanliness problems. At that point, I did not feel comfortable staying at the property and decided to leave. The most disappointing part was what happened afterward. The receptionist acknowledged the issues and informed me that my refund request would be submitted to the appropriate team for review. Despite the documented problems and the fact that I never stayed in the hotel, my refund request was later denied without any clear explanation. This hotel failed to provide a clean, safe, and acceptable room, and then refused to take responsibility when the issues were reported immediately. The customer service and refund policy are extremely disappointing and seem designed to avoid accountability rather than resolve legitimate guest concerns. I would strongly advise travelers to think twice before booking here. Cleanliness, room maintenance, customer service, and fairness in handling refunds were all far below expectations."

"Front desk personnel needs to learn how to smile. Not very well trained in displaying a welcoming, friendly approach to guests. The breakfast area was not monitored or attended by hotel staff. At times, food was strewn across countertops for long periods of time, along with litter on the floor. It became disgusting to look at. Only when the front desk was notified did anyone enter the breakfast area to get things back in order. Also, several food items were running out and only when asked by guests to replenish did staff act upon this. Didn't seem as if anyone on staff was responsible for monitoring the breakfast area. Otherwise, our stay was good. Hotel is conveniently located by an RTA train station, so it was easy getting to, and from, downtown Cleveland. If I was assured the breakfast area would be kept clean and supplied, without prompting by guests, would I make reservations at this La Quinta again."

"The room was clean. The mattress needs to be replaced. I have stay twice in May and both times the elevator was broken. Luckily I was able to a room on first floor, it was handicapped accessible. Not the greatest! Staff was friendly! I am hoping they remodel soon ! This place is convenient for my visit to see grandkids!"

"The ad on webpage is false! It looks nothing like the hotel. Cobwebs hanging over pool long enough to swing from. Stuff floating in pool, hair in tub and sink, filthy microwave on the outside like its never washed. The outside was trashy unsafe neighbors hanging out smoking on property in a non smoking facility. It was worse stay ever!"
