Summary:
It’s a first floor apartment in a duplex. Our recently renovated (summer 2021) home has been set up to anticipate your needs. We have an extra large porch with outdoor seating and a propane grill for guest use.

We love hosting well behaved pets!

Street parking only - the property doesn’t have a driveway.

The Space:
Newly renovated summer of 2021 with a head turning transitional design. We tried to keep the charm of an original 100 years old house and make it cozy and comfortable. Boasting 65 inch TV with a large sectional couch and 2 additional chairs in the living room, a massive front porch with outdoor seating and grill (warm months). We hope you will feel right at home quickly, so you can start relaxing and make the most of your time away.

Guest Access:
We have tons of free and well lit street parking directly in front of the home. Located a 5 minute walk from Broadway (our main street) on a safe street across from the elementary school.

The Neighborhood:
Newly designated historical district of downtown Lorain. If you’re not familiar with the city, Lorain was once a thriving center for steel, auto parts, and shipbuilding. However, by 2005, many of these factories, including the Ford assembly plant, had closed, leading to significant economic hardship for the city. Our home is in a safe area, right across from a school and around corner from a library, but the neighborhood is a little run down. We believe it takes more passionate people like us to bring Lorain back to its old glory.

Getting Around:
Broadway street is 5 minutes walk, about 10 minutes to the river and park.

Please note that our check-in time is any time after 4pm. Check out time is 11am sharp.
