Mid Century Guest House on Wooded Lot

Quiet neighborhood in Kirtland, Ohio. Danish Modern guest house features mid-century furnishings and nostalgic charm.

First floor plan: Bedroom (front door opens into) with queen-size bed, dresser and smart television; Hallway with two large closets; Half bath; Living room and eating area with vaulted ceiling, picture window, and television (Apple TV); Gallery kitchen (fully stocked) with retro stove & refrigerator, sink, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave; Screened porch with table and chairs.

Lower-level floor plan: Full bath with shower, tub, and sink; Family room, futon sofa, roll away twin-size bed, television, record player, small desk and chair, and workout equipment; Laundry room (unfinished room) with stackable washer and dryer.

*Must be able to climb stairs as full bath is on lower level. Floating steps and spaces between stairway rails could be a concern for small children.

Located just minutes away from Patterson's Fruit Farm, Kirtland Temple, Holden Arboretum, Lake Farm Park, Historic Downtown Willoughby, James A. Garfield National Historic Site, and North Chagrin Reservation and Metroparks. Approximately 20 - 30 minutes from Downtown Cleveland.

House contains a variety of books, games, and puzzles for your enjoyment. Air mattress available upon request.

Wide vertical parking-lot style driveway allows easy access in and out of property. Owners on premise in private home next to guest house.

Would stay again! Adorable house!

The property was well maintained, very clean and had lots of amenities to make you feel at home. It was about 30 minutes from downtown but had a secluded country feel. The host was readily available to help with a door lock problem which didn’t affect our stay at all. Would stay here again if in the Cleveland area!!

Charming home that is even cuter than the pictures online. The neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. We saw deer walked through the backyard and owls in the trees. The house is so well taken care of and has everything you could need.

Peaceful Forest Retreat

Great character in secluded quiet neighborhood. All amenities provided for.Only drawback, and it is temporary, is bridge on main road being closed. Difficult to get around at first.

Everything about this property was wonderful. From the very thoughtful welcome basket to the communication with the hosts, it was a perfect stay for us. The house was immaculate! It was comfortable and allowed for privacy with the two levels. The location was perfect for Eastlake and Cleveland. Wonderful places to eat. Very restful and quiet. Communication with hosts was excellent. A stellar experience at this property and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Cute, quiet stay

This place was perfect for our weekend stay. My partner and I came into town for a wedding. The guest house is very clean and decorated well! They had everything we needed and more and were very nice!

Absolutely adorable little mcm home ! Area was quiet, comfortable and easy to access. Hosts were great and accommodating for a late night check in after a long day of travel. Highly recommend this cute little hideaway

The house had just the right amount of character. It was unique, outfitted well, bed was comfortable, and we loved the screened in porch. Mary was super accessible and a delight to deal with. We would definitely visit again.

Perfect location

Great property in a very wooded neighborhood. Decorated wonderfully. We enjoyed the record player and records in the basement living room. My family lives near the house and we traveled from out of state. It was so nice to participate in family events and have a place for myself at the end of the day.

Great spring stay!

Peaceful Retreat

What a cool property with some interesting history. With soaring windows nestled in the tall trees, it was so quiet and relaxing! But also very tastefully decorated and comfortable. I really enjoyed staying here.

Best spot ever!

Back again in this cozy house in the woods! So quiet and peaceful yet minutes from everything. You can work out in the basement or just relax by the gas stove on the main floor with its wall of windows and screened porch - and games! Thanks again for a great stay!

Long weekend

We had a great stay. Mary was a wonderful host. We enjoyed the guest house. The screened in deck was fantastic and we used it most nights. The location was perfect for our activities. And we enjoyed Tavern 6 which was just a few minutes away. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing house to unwind from the day

We enjoyed our stay at this Guest House in Kirtland. We had very busy days and it was a treat to come back to this quiet neighborhood to unwind. We loved the screened porch surrounded by trees. The house has interesting and fun decor and has everything you need to feel at home.

Super cute little cottage

Owner was very accommodating and extremely nice. She even shared the history of the building which was very interesting and added to the ambiance. House was very clean and well decorated and stocked with necessities and treats. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.
