Just 10 minutes from the Bavarian Alps replica town of Helen, Georgia.

Whether you're visiting the North Georgia mountains for a wedding, winery tours, one of our many festivals like Oktoberfest, admiring the fall leaves, a college graduation, a family vacation, or in hopes of striking it rich while panning for gold, we're certain that our home will be a place of rest and relaxation during your stay.

Visit the Bavarian Alps replica town of Helen, Georgia nestled in the Appalachian mountains of North Georgia. This area was once home to the mighty Cherokee. When settled by Europeans in the 1800's it became the site of the first U.S. gold rush. Then later became the quaint little German town it is today.

Come during late September through the end of October to not only enjoy the changing leaves, but also experience the Oktoberfest celebrations!

Our home is also an excellent place of respite for the adventurer! There are countless hiking trails, excellent roads for mountain biking, exceptional trout fishing waters, and more waterfalls than you can see on one trip.

Fun for the whole family too, with a waterpark, zip line adventures, horseback riding, river tubing, mini-golf, gold & gem mining, award-winning vineyards, a local brewery, unique shops, amish bakeries, antiquing, great local & German cuisine, and much more!

Our mountain chalet was built in 2005. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living spaces, and a kitchen and dining area. There's more than 1000 sq. ft. of wrap around porches to take in the majestic mountain views. When you're ready to relax after a long day of exploring all the area has to offer, slip into the hot tub with a glass of wine or make s'mores in the camp fire out back.

There is a smart doorbell installed by the front door with audio and video recording capabilities for security purposes.

Raving about Ritz on the Rocks

For our family get-together the mansion cabin was ideal, It easily accommodated all of us with even extra room to spare. The views were breathtaking from every window and all three decks. The cabin’s location was a very short drive to our new favorite spots: Helen tubing, Anna Ruby Falls, waterfalls with swimming, downtown Helen and scrumptious local restaurants. We also especially enjoyed the host-gift of S’Mores fixings. It was an amazing experience for all of us!

Daughter's 21st Birthday

We had a great stay at Ritz on the Rocks. Our family and friends celebrated our daughter's birthday. This property had beautiful views and we were all very comfortable and relaxing. Family Vacation

This house was perfect for my family to have a long weekend and unwind. The view is beautiful! It was very private and felt remote but was only a short distance to Helen. We even got to see a bear on our last day there! Perfect ending to a perfect vacation.

Wonderful experience

The place is beautiful and well kept. The views were amazing - beautiful sunsets over the mountains. Plenty of amenities - hot tub, games, WiFi, etc. location is great - easy to Cleveland for groceries, easy to Helen and other points of interest. If we come back to this area, then I can’t imagine wanting to stay anywhere else!

This home is perfect for a family vacation. This location offers the privacy of a mountain cabin yet is close enough to Helen for enjoying the restaurants, hiking and festivities that the town has to offer. Highly recommended

Family Getaway

My family and I came here for a few days to relax and spend time together. It was the perfect place. Plenty of room, gorgeous views, and every amenity you could think of. Our host, Mitch, was extremely helpful and responsive about any questions we had. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back.

A beautiful and comfortable getaway!

Everything was as wonderful as it looked on the website. The well-appointed house and amazing views made "social distancing" a pleasure rather than a chore. Lots of big open spaces for gathering, lots of private spaces for solitude. The owners were friendly and available by text to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend this place!

Best Stay Ever

My family goes to the mountains of north Georgia annually. This was our first stay at Ritz on the Rocks but it definitely won’t be the last! The cabin was spacious, beautiful, equipped with everything we could possibly need, and Mitch was so easy to work with. Thank you for a fabulous family vacation.

Amazing everything

I can not say enough nice things about this place. We had everything we needed at the cabin! The views are breathtaking. It’s a very short distance to so many attractions. The owner was honestly the best with communication regarding details and help with anything that I’ve ever dealt with. The cabin was beautiful and we made so many fun memories.

Amazing!

Our family stayed at this property to visit the waterfalls of the area. The house was clean and very well cared for. I loved that the amazing view from the porch was a sunset view rather than a sunrise view. Mitch was incredible! The dishwasher went out during our stay and Mitch had it swapped out the same day.

Great stay

To start the owner was great and accommodating. The property was clean and had everywhere needed. The views were outstanding. We had a small problem while staying due to a very powerful storm. The owner came out the next morning and fixed the problem. The stay was so great we stayed an extra night. Did not want to leave. Thanks to the owners and I would recommend a stay. Also it’s close to everything you need from Helen to hiking to wineries etc.

Beautiful home

What an experience! Beautiful, spacious, relaxing home! Very clean and the view is so beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Very close by to Helen. Definitely will be coming back soon. If you looking for a relaxing girls or family trip this place will accommodate more than enough guest. Host left an very detail book with close by eatery and more to find things to do for any outing. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thanks to our Host for allowing us to partake in their lovely home.

The Best Mountain Views in N Ga!

We visit our family in Helen, Ga quite a bit and have stayed in VRBO's all over Sautee, Cleveland and Helen. This by far was the best experience we've had! The home is absolutely beautiful, the floorpan and layout is perfect for a large family (tho it was only 3 of us this time lol) and the kitchen came stocked with everything we needed for our 6 day stay. Upon our arrival (we were even allowed to get there a bit early thanks to Mitch) we were blown away when we walked in and took in the amazing mountain views off the back deck. The home was very clean and each bedroom was perfectly prepared. Our 13 yr old son loved having the downstairs basement to himself and the wife and I loved our 3rd floor master suite with balcony. The hot tub was wonderful when it got into the 30's at night and we had a wonderful time sitting around the huge fire pit when our family visited. We have decided that this will be the only home we book from now on when visiting and we can't wait for our next trip North! Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your amazing property!

Ritz on the Rocks truly ROCKS!

This property is beautiful and perfectly located to enjoy the Helen area and the amazing mountain views. My husband and I brought my 81 year old disabled father and our senior Border Collie, Dash, to come see Helen and Anna Ruby Falls just for the weekend. Dad had a perfect entry level bedroom and bathroom for his needs. He uses a rollator and had no issues getting around on the main floor. I truly appreciated the shower chair in his bedroom closet as we forgot his. Very nice to remember for your guests. The large den and kitchen area is gorgeous with an amazing view of the mountains from every level of the home. This is a perfect place for couples and children with the bedrooms and bathrooms set up very well for privacy and togetherness. There is a nice fire pit with firewood available and a horseshoe pit for outdoor enjoyment. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day at the falls. We really enjoyed our stay. Even though it was short, we would absolutely come back to this property and bring some more folks to enjoy it with us. I want to say thank you to Mitch for being so quick to respond to my messages. The S'mores Station was also a fun touch You can tell they love their home and want their guests to be comfortable and have a wonderful time. 5 stars to the property, owner, location, views, privacy and amenities. 😁

Annual Family Vacation

We always look forward to our annual family vacation to Helen. We've stayed in several cabins and this has been our favorite. The cabin is always well stocked and clean. The owners are excellent at reaching out to see if you have any needs. They even txt to let us know the area was expecting bad weather during our stay. They go above to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Can't wait to stay again next year!
