Cute cabin, very clean, great location for visiting parks/hiking. The cooking area is very small with limited pots and utensils, but quite satisfactory for simple meals. The dining area in the kitchen is too small to eat, but there is a small table in the living area that works. The living area is all in one - couch, TV, bed (very comfortable), dining table, gas fireplace. Lovely pine floors, walls and ceiling. The porch is lovely to sit out on in the evening. Although the cabin is up the hill, the traffic noise from trucks is quite loud with the windows open, fortunately during the night it was fairly quiet. The cabin is right next to the owner's house (which I believe also is listed on VRBO or AirBnB). Fast response and useful info from owners. There is a cafe/business at the bottom of the hill which is only open on weekends during non peak season-great ice cream! 10 miles or so to Travellers Rest for some good restaurants. Ten minutes to Table Rock SP and just a little further to Devils Fork SP, Sassafrass Mt, near a good winery (that serves lunch Thursday-Sat). Bring all your food, no grocery store nearby. Bathroom is simple, plenty of hot water. Cell signal is pretty weak in this area, but adequate unless deeper in the parks. Nice stay, we enjoyed it very much.
