Welcome to Soaring Hawk, a stunning, custom-built log cabin perched high on Yonah Mountain, just 3 miles from charming Alpine Helen, Georgia. Enjoy unmatched panoramic views of the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains.

This is not your average rental—it’s our family’s private retreat, thoughtfully designed with luxury, comfort, and rustic elegance, custom log furniture and local antiques.

The cabin is beautiful and cozy, very clean, the view of the mountains is absolutely amazing especially the sunrise in the morning. We has a very great overall experience staying in the cabin and the owner is super helpful with answering any questions we had. We would like to come visit again!

Everything about this cabin is wonderful! Highly recommend a stay here. Anything that we could have needed was provided. The beds were so comfortable. The view over the mountains was incredible to wake up to and enjoy everyday. We loved our stay, and look forward to coming back in the future!

My husband and I came to this cabin for a long weekend to get away from the city. The hot tub was fantastic, the fireplace and living area cozy, and beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Stayed at Soaring Hawk over Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. The views were breathtaking and the cabin was very comfortable. Perfect location just a short drive to Helen and Babyland. We will definitely be returning.

Great location and property! Proximity to Helen/Cleveland gives you the best in options for sightseeing/dining. Spice 55 was a great surprise -- the authentic Bavarian setting of Helen was the real deal. Yonah Mountain access was superb and a great family experience! Hot tub, fire action and house set up were excellent -- the view was unforgettable (sunsets/sunrise, middle of day/night). A few great wildlife moments to round it out. Thanks to Alan for all the great comms and additional information on the area. Very helpful to make the time the best it could be.
