"How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place....

"I had a wonderful time at this home. I loved that everything was labeled and detailed. There was no guessing which switch went to which light, how to turn on the tv, or even lock the doors. I also hiked two trails on the property and found them better labeled than some of the state park hikes I did this weekend. It is wonderful that I got to experience the serenity of the acreage. Outside of those things the house would fit 4 people (there is a bedroom with a half bath and an office with a futon...

"It was a cute cabin. Some furniture could be updated. Cabin was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. One downside, the state park pass was expired and we had to pay to get in. It would also have been nice to have instructions for the keypad….we had some difficulty with it."

"Location is ideal for exploring the land of waterfalls and the Blue Ridge Parkway, then relaxing in the hot tub!!! This is our third stay here and we highly recommend it and our dog Roxie approves!!!"
