"The room was beautiful and clean. Each room is individually designed with good amenities.This is a totally unique location, and a wonderful hotel. It's right in the medieval village, so expect to walk your bags from the main road to the hotel, down cobblestone streets. We walked from the train station, which was about 20 minutes, mostly uphill. There are likely easier bus or taxi options that will get you the edge of the medieval town. The effort was totally worth it. Breakfast was at a family-run restaurant on the main square, a one minute walk from the hotel. It felt like 'Old France', with a fireplace lit, copper pans hanging from the wall, and delicious pastries and bread for breakfast. Eggs or cheese were extra. We had a great one night stay here during low season, and would definitely come back."

"It’s hard to describe how magical this experience felt. The service was truly top tier. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Our room had everything we could possibly need and felt both comfortable and authentically castle-like. We chose to have dinner at the on site restaurant and it was easily the best dining experience I have ever had. The service was genuine white glove perfection and the food was exquisite. The textures and flavors were an experience all on their own. My only regret is not booking the spa ahead of time. I assumed I could make a reservation on arrival but they were fully booked or closed during our stay. The grounds and views are spectacular and the property has so much to offer, even on a quiet Monday in the middle of winter. Truly unforgettable."

"A good location for visiting the region (we did it by bikes). The personnel is very adjustable, the service was excellent, the breakfast is good and dinners were very good. The pool in September was appreciated a lot. It’s a per-friendly place too, thanks for keeping this option. WiFi is good - I was teleworking with no problem. "

"We loved our stay at Domaine Du Manoir. Our room was spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. One the highlights was our hosts, who gave us great recommendations for both restaurants and things to do in the local area. The use of the pool and grounds made for relaxed afternoons, not forgetting their gorgeous dogs Tess and Sirius. We very much enjoyed our time here. "
