The communal kitchen on the ground floor was a great addition with a fridge to store snacks / drinks and cooking facilities if you want to be self-sufficient. The room was bright, big and clean with a great shower and a comfy bed. The large fan provided helped us stay cool. "Breakfast had funny taste first day, decent second day. Front entrance mat extremely grubby and this is what welcomes you. Peeling paint, dead flower pots and no hanging baskets at front. Carpets dirty around bed, defiant tracks. Couple we was with had stayed there before, said it had definitely gone down hill with all the above mentioned plus they used to have homemade loafs of bread and jams and yogurts where much betțer on the whole seemed to be cutting costs and corners. Bed comfy and clean...

"Really great hotel with so much attention to detail. Record players in the room and a huge selection of records is a really nice touch. The Radio was on when we arrived to our room and the Pantry is generous & a really unique touch. Canadian lady on the Bar was knowledgeable & super friendly (Pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the extensive bar menu was priced). Just really really cool & great location."

"Hotel was perfect for our needs, outside the centre but just a 10 minute walk away from it so quiet on a night. Clean well maintained bedroom with a lovely shower. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they went over and above to help us. The hotel was so good we're thinking of going back later in the year."
