"My family of four spent a lovely, quiet weekend at this peaceful oasis. Our hostess was in close contact in response to any questions I had. My husband and I enjoyed kayaking from the dock and our daughters enjoyed roasting hotdogs over the bonfire. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings with my coffee, listening to the bird song. I gladly recommend this lovely place to anyone."

If you want to feel like you are vacationing at a unique, quaint, spacious, southern European villa, with modern amenities, spacious, VERY comfortable beds with an abundant choice of pillows, nooks and crannies for exploring and imaginative play (my 4 year old granddaughter loved it)—this place is FOR you! Built in 1928, there are a lot of original features. So if you are looking for perfectly modern, perfect woodwork and flooring, door and drawers that glide and shut perfectly, sparkly clean windows, everything the same throughout the home—this place is NOT for you. My granddaughter summed it ip perfectly as we were loading the car for departure: “I don’t want to leave this nice yellow house.” "

"Seemed to be recently refurbished. Not in the middle of town but easy driving distance. Excellent for my budget. That said there are no extras. Ie, pool, breakfast, etc. I would return happily. Excellent for retired on a budget "
