"This is the second time I've stayed at this property. The first time was a few years ago. The hotel and grounds are pretty much the same as I remember them. I arrived late to check in (11:30 pm) but had called the hotel beforehand, so that was no issue. The only problem was that the night manager seemed to be the only one on duty. He was working the bar and the front desk and, at one time, was doing the hoovering and didn't hear my calling for assistance. He was friendly, made his apologies, and did his best to make it up to me. So, it was only a minor inconvenience. I had been told that the gym would open at 7:00 am the next morning but when I came down to head to the gym was told that I had been misinformed - that the gym didn't open until 9:00 am. That seemed a bit late to me and I had to check out before then. That was a disappointment since one of the main reasons I chose the hotel was for gym access. However, the gym is owned and operated by another party, so the hotel has no control over their hours. Breakfast also didn't open until 8:00 am, which also seemed a bit late to me. I slept well and breakfast was good, so overall it was a good visit."
