"8 bed dorm was really spacious. Loved the curtains, really made it feel cosy and cocoonlike. Comfy duvet and pillow and CLEAN. Super warm too, really felt like a home away from home. The staff, especially Martin, was really helpful. Would stay again when I’m back in Dunedin."

"I had a great private room that was away from the noisy backpacker dorms, and clean and well maintained. The common spaces are fine, and the location is superb. I would definitely stay there again."

"Very outdated, the vibe from the whole place made me sleep with the light on as there was something very eerie about the place, the communal bathrooms were pretty bad, no soap, no one had cleaned the entire time I was there, razors left behind in shower put me off, and hardly any lighting in there once it goes dark. Curtains had mould on them and pillows were dirty, one window permanently open in my room so there was a breeze but overall a cheap room"
