"The property is located away from main part of town- which we knew & enjoyed- but do know it’s about 17 min drive from 46. Beds very comfortable- so cool each room had a king! The sofa - big & comfortable too- great for watching tv in evening. Kitchen well equipped & made dinner there all 3 nights. Spacious feel & very clean. I agree with other reviewers- I’d try to go first night before completely dark. Would rent again! "

"Very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing property. Beautiful views of the hills during the day and stars at night. Far from city lights and noises which makes this spot extra relaxing. Around 20 minute drive away from nearest town/store. Huge yard my two corgis loved. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future.Huge "

"The Shandon House is incredible and a great place to stay. We truly enjoyed the home, pool, jacuzzi, and the kitchen is amazing! It is quiet and peaceful and all the bedrooms were great. The property manager was helpful upon arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!"

"The host Allen was great! He stayed in communication with us and even offered to turn on the heater for us because we weren’t expected to get in until about 10pm. When we arrived the thermostat was showing that it was heating but the vents were blowing cold air and the inside temp read 61. I set the thermostat to 72 and waited about and hour and the temp had gone down to 60. Sent Allen a message through the app, not expecting a response due to how late it was. Looked around the house and there...

"We came for the dark skies and we weren't disappointed. It is a great place for astrophotography-- but beware of the wind. The bunk house is fantastic. It is quite roomy, everything is brand new, and it has lots of great amenities. There is an outside patio with a fire pit and barbecue stations. Communication with the owner is easy and straightforward. Make sure to bring everything you will need as this place is pretty far from shops/gas stations etc."
