I really liked the house and the location is beautiful. I am a stickler for clean beds and I was a little disappointed when I saw stained sheets in the master. Overall a wonderful night spent here but could use some linen upgrades.

It may be 90 minutes from Yosemite National Park's entrance, but for the price of a shoebox room 45 minutes closer, you could have this. We've travelled around a bit, but this is one of our all-time highlights, whether for the quality of the house, the setting or the panoramic views. If you want to be able to walk out for a drink, or a meal, or a night out, it's not for you. If you want to have a base that's a bit off the beaten track, cook or barbecue for yourselves, and sit down to eat or drink whether on bar stools or a swinging bed-sofa, it's as good as it gets. Load up your car with all the food and drink you'll need for your stay, make those trips into Yosemite, and return to somewhere special. There are high-end restaurants that don't have better locations. And hosts Lisa and Seth were brilliant.
