Outstanding staff - great property

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a renovated hospice and every detail has been attended to. The showers were large and wonderful! The staff is courteous and friendly. Everything is very up to date and the entire property is very clean. The morning buffet is 5 star and so is the adjoining restaurant. Be sure to check out the beautiful chapel in the hotel! Also the hotel is right next door to a National Park with live animals. Definitely would stay again!

This was like the 10th stay with Hotel Kundalini. So, I obviously love the hotel. It's about 100 meters north of the craziness of downtown Montanita You cannot hear anything but the ocean. It's a beautiful and tranquil place. The rooms are clean. They're quiet. They're set up nicely so you can immediately assimilate and get comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel. Great quiet clean rooms nice place the only bad side was the restaurants only have sandwich's for dinner, we arrived at 10:30pm after a long day traveling without food (plane) we wanted a room service but wasn't available at that time we arrived hopefully they can rearrange kitchen hours thanks

This place is a hidden gem! An oasis of calm in the middle of a bustling, dirty city. It feels like home. The employees extended such hospitality that we felt like we were staying at a friends house. Highly recommend!

Stayed for 5 nights with my girlfriend. The owners of the hotel are lovely people, they were both very helpful and attentive and even gave us a free breakfast when we showed up way before our check-in time. The property is beautiful and relaxing. If you want to surf this is the place to stay. The owner shapes his own balsa boards which he rents and sells. they are beautiful boards, he has every shape and length you could want, and a short alley leads you directly to the best surf spot in...

I was so pleased with this hotel from the moment i stepped in. Every staff member were pleasant and greeted me when I passed. The breakfast that was included was buffet style and everything was delicious. We had dinner at El Faro and everything was amazing. Asked for an iron and it came to us quickly. Staff was attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delicious and attractively served. The grounds are beautiful - a place of retreat. It is placed high on the hill above the noise of the city and is quiet and restful. I have stayed here twice and both times were a welcome interlude in my travels. I would recommend it to anyone needing a place of rest before going on their way.
