"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. "Our room was clean but very basic and small. The bathroom has been recently updated and everything works great, including plenty of hot water. The parking is especially spacious for Wales! Restaurant food is typical pub food, tasty, generous portions and served piping hot. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy here, but good value for the money."

We often woke with sheep on our doorstep and the sound of the river was a constant soothing sound. You are immersed in the best of Welsh countryside. We highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. Machynlleth is a vibrant market town with many independent shops and pubs/restaurants all within easy walking distance from the cottage and also a good base for visiting the many tourist attractions in the area."

"Great holiday cottage in a fantastic location - within easy driving distance of nice beaches and mountain walks. The resort has a indoor swimming pool which required booking into a slot during peak stays (school holidays). The site also has a free mini golf course (clubs and balls provided). The cottage cooking equipment could have been better (tin opener was not fit for purpose and cooking knives were blunt). Beds were comfortable. Resort was well tended and tidy. The Indian restaurant on the resort had fabulous Indian food (so delicious we went twice) but the decor is a little shabby - don't this put you off as the food is amazing.I would go back"
