"I am so lucky to have found Carole's cottage. It is a gem in West Eugene. The cottage is well appointed with a comfortable bed and stocked kitchen. It is in a cute neighborhood with a few restaurants and parks. Carole was such an accommodating host and helped make my trip so special. I was solo parent traveling with my baby, and Carole was able to provide a crib and high chair, allowing me to pack more efficiently. "I booked this place for two top reasons; The fact it was out in the country with a river view And because it had a hot tub on the deck I was disheartened that the hot tub was not functioning. I reached out to the property owner( right next door) and she said she knew nothing about the hot tub, but her husband did. "We were very happy with our stay at this cute little duplex that is just a couple of blocks from University of Oregon. The kitchen is small, but works great. There is no dining area or table. "We truly enjoyed our one-week stay at the Lily Pad. The place was perfect for the two of us and our Boston Terrier. It was as described, with no bad surprises. Most importantly, our host, Kathy, was fantastic, and a great communicator. She gave us great advice and even shared excellent local eggs and fruits. On top of it, her mini schnauzer, Fritzie, is absolutely adorable! We'll be back!"
