Sleeping up to four people in one bedroom, it’s the ideal accommodation option for families yearning to relax together while they explore the untamed beauty of the Lake District. During the day, take a stroll through the pretty village of Lorton (3 miles) to admire St Cuthbert's Church or hike to Spout Force to marvel at the stunning waterfall. Alternatively, discover the Wordsworth House and Garden in Cockermouth (4 miles), and then come home to dine al fresco in the cottage’s pretty garden.
Park up your car and step inside your pretty cottage. You will first encounter an inviting entrance hall that leads you to a pleasant open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Take a moment to relax in front of the TV in the lounge area before heading to the smart kitchen to cook up a storm for your loved ones. Gather everyone together to eat at the stylish dining table before heading back to the lounge area to catch up on your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, a cosy bedroom with a double bed and bunk bed for any little ones awaits. Completing the layout, you’ll find a contemporary family bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC.
Enjoy a meal or a relaxing drink in the cottage’s pretty enclosed garden while the kids play happily on the lawn. There is private parking for 2 cars.
