READ CAREFULLY!!

Our Guest Lodging is part of the property which is also an Overnight Horse Boarding Facility. We refer to this listing as 'The Bunkhouse' which has rustic log furniture for that Western and Cowboy appeal. It is located in the Spectacular Wapiti Valley which is approximately 16 miles from Cody and 30 miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Ranch is located on Stagecoach Trail which leads East to Cody and West to Yellowstone directly onto Hwy 14-16-20 in either direction.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY OR IN THE UNITS. We apologize for the inconvenience but we live in the very dry area and wildfires are a huge concern.

We recommend bringing your own steaming device (Apple TV, Amazon Firestick, Roku, etc.) if you want to watch TV during your visit. We do not have cable on the property. But we do provide a TV with an HDMI connection.

*PER WYOMING FISHING REGULATIONS, FISHING SEASON ON OUR SECTION OF THE RIVER IS JULY 1-MARCH 31. NO FISHING IS PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY PRIOR TO JULY 1. Other areas of Cody and the river can be accessed for fishing.

Lodging is surrounded by the Shoshone River with easy access for its own private trout fishing experience. Has its own entrance and parking area. The Bunkhouse has 10 foot ceilings with french doors and a quaint covered porch, barbeque grill and picnic area. The bunkhouse has its own kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer and a private bedroom with a beautiful queen log bed. There is also a custom log bunk bed (twin on top and full on bottom) and a log futon couch (approximately a queen size bed).

Nice Location
We enjoyed our stay here; it was in perfect location to Yellowstone and Cody. The cabin was extremely clean and was everything we needed for our time away from home.

Place to sleep and eat but hard to enjoy.
Maybe our stay was different due to 90 plus temps the entire time but it was hard to relax and hang out at cabin. Weeds and a pile of tin and junk around cabin make for an unsightly mess when you first arrive. Patio area is over run by red ants and you can’t relax and cook in patio area without being invaded by them. There is an ant hill right up against the cabin on south side. Fans are provided but on hot days cabin is not enjoyable until late evening/early morning. Two big windows have no screens so you can’t open without being overrun by mosquitoes and nats in the cabin. Another screen is duck taped in and still allows multiple mosquitoes and nats in cabin. Cleanliness is cabin is good, beds comfortable, shower good and having washer and dryer is great. Bring your own charcoal for grill. Sounds of river would be great if you could sit on patio and enjoy, and cabin faces main residence on the place 100 feet away, pictures do not show that on VRBO. Mosquitoes were so bad on river it was impossible to enjoy(we went up river into Shoshone Forest to fish and enjoy) Location to Cody and Yellowstone is great. Not one to complain but the reason for renting a cabin was being on the river, relaxation and enjoyment it was hard to give a better rating.

Beautiful spot, perfect location for exploring Yellowstone and Cody
This property was perfect for my family. My 3 boys enjoyed all aspects of the ranch from the free range chickens, outdoor cats, horses and donkeys to the amazing river access for exploring and wading. The river was running fast but we found safe spots to explore. Owners were very quick to respond to texts and questions. We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting an authentic Wyoming experience!

Perfect location for a Yellowstone getaway
Loved our stay with Adrienne and Jake! This is the absolute best location! 30ish mins to Yellowstone and 20-30 mins into Cody. Very clean when we arrived and any questions or needs we had were answered very quickly! Views are stunning and my kids loved waking up to visit all the animals. River access was easy (just a short walk down from the house). Even though their other unit was booked we really didn't even know they were there! Super quiet and private even with the other unit! Owners were lovely and we had a nice conversation with Adrienne shortly after arriving. Even without the home having AC we never got hot. Left the windows open and used provided fans and we were absolutely fine. My kids didn't complain one time! Kitchen was pretty well stocked so we could cook and the owners also recommended some great places in town so we had the best of both worlds available to us. Overall this was a GREAT place to stay and we'll DEFINITELY be back! Thanks again Jake and Adrienne for the best 10 days!

Awesome experience in Yellowstone. This place had a good location. Access to Yellowstone and Cody. Especially if you plan on making the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway drive. Cody to Red Lodge by way of Chief Joseph/Beartooth highway is an awesome drive. Thank you to the owners for that suggestion. Hope to see you again next year.

We had a great time at this property! Stunning mountain and river views. The baby donkey might have been my favorite. Kids had a great time down by the river and petting the horses. So nice to have laundry on site and a kitchen stocked with the things you need. Definitely recommend!

My family booked the cabin before the extreme flooding at Yellowstone. I reached out to the owners after I heard about the damage at the park. They responded right away and ensured us there was no damage by them. We decided to keep the reservation and were very happy with how it worked out. We got into the park twice and this was a great home base as we were about 25 minutes closer to the East Gate than if we had stayed in Cody. Great place and I would recommend to others.

Beautiful getaway
We had a great time here! Very quiet and plenty of open land/space, but still close to civilization if we needed anything. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, provided whatever items we needed (including the ever-encouraged bear spray)! Great stay, great time, very cozy cabin, excellent for us. Thanks again!

Great place outside Yellowstone
Our 3-generation family loved this ranch about 30 miles from Yellowstone—beautiful views of the mountains from windows and porch; expected to see Butch Cassidy ride out. The hosts were very helpful, supplying us with extra fans for the unusually hot nights, and letting my granddaughters help feed the horses—an unexpected favorite activity! The big open space for cooking, eating, and sleeping (plus a separate bedroom) worked well for us. I especially enjoyed the drive to the park, with mountains on one side and a rushing, tree-lined river on the other. We wished we had more time for fishing and exploring. Would highly recommend staying here—it gave us a beautiful place to relax after busy days of touring Yellowstone.

Home away from home!
I spent 5 nights at this beautiful property with my mother, brother, sister-in-law, nephew 14, and niece 10. We felt at home the minute we arrived. The cabin was clean, cozy, and accommodating. The 6 of us had plenty of room. My brother and I went down to the river every morning to wet a line and between the amazing sunrise and the fight of a rainbow, we will never forget it!!! The property is in the perfect location sitting halfway between Cody and Yellowstone and the drive either direction is breathtaking!!! The hosts at this property are so kind and are willing to help with anything. They also respect your privacy and only come around if needed. I will go back! I can’t describe how “at home” we felt and how many wonderful memories were made!
