They also provided firewoods for bonfires right beside the lake. Also, the lake has very clean water good for both swimming and fishing. Extra ameneties like paddle boat, kayaks, stand up board and water vests. The location is great for a quiet getaway and also provides great privacy."

"The perfect place for a cottage getaway. Wonderful venue for winter activities, cloae to sledding, snowmobiling, skating. Hottub was a wonderful experience under the stars after a cold day. Clean, well stocked, comfy and good room for our family of 4. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. If I could give this 6 stars, absolutely would. Will definitely be booking for the summer!"

"The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor.Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good."

The grounds around and the nature at the lake are just stellar. True beauty star of Kawartha region. Not many motorized vehicles on the water. Perfect for sweeming. Water was cristal clear and warm. The yard and patio is really lovely and has grill, seating area, firepit, and play area for kids. Lots of nice amenities for relaxing. The location was very convenient to downtown Bancroft. "I was looking for a dog friendly winter vacation spot to hang out in the snow with my 1.5 year old lab/husky. He was too little last year to really enjoy the winter so this year I decided to spoil him for all his hard working in the last year training. It was daily zoomies for him and tons of fresh air and good old nature. The property was clean and user friendly. I was t able to use the hot tub, but that’s because my dog thinks I’m drowning when I go into a pool or tub so without causing him...
