This quaint cottage is 900+ square feet of cozy living space. Take advantage of the superb location only ten minute walk (11 straight blocks) to shopping on Sherman Ave and to the Coeur d’Alene resort and 12 straight blocks to McEuen Park. Some of the best restaurants and ice creamery’s are only a few blocks away! Great shopping and entertainment within minutes of walking distance!

HOUSE RULES: PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING AND STAYING
We’re thrilled to host you and want your time in the cottage to be relaxing and memorable. Our home is thoughtfully designed and furnished with higher-end, name-brand pieces, custom decor, and quality materials; everything from the wool rugs to the kitchenware has been selected with care.
To help us keep this space beautiful and comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that you follow the house rules below. Your cooperation helps us maintain the standard of the home and ensures everyone has an exceptional experience.

1. No Pets Allowed
We love animals, but we to protect the home and furnishings—and for the comfort of guests with allergies—pets are not permitted.
Bringing a pet without prior approval will result in an additional deposit and cleaning fee.
2. Guest Limit & Sleeping Arrangements
The home is set up to comfortably accommodate a maximum of four overnight guests, with two queen beds provided.
We kindly ask that no one sleeps on the couch or in the common areas. Extra guest charges may apply. Thank you for respecting this limit.
3. Check-In & Check-Out
• Check-in time is firm. We do not allow early check-in unless you are notified that the home is ready.
• Late check-outs must be approved in advance. Unauthorized late check-outs may incur additional fees.
4. No Smoking
There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed inside the home.
Violations will result in a $600 smoke odor removal fee.
5. Inventory & Missing Items
All décor, furnishings, kitchen items, and utensils are carefully inventoried between each stay.
Please do not remove any items from the home. Missing or damaged items will be charged accordingly.
6. Damage Responsibility
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
Please treat the home with care and report any accidental damage so we can address it promptly.
7. Kitchen & Dining Use
You’re welcome to enjoy meals in the dining area or kitchen. Please keep all food and beverages in those spaces only.
No food or drinks are permitted in the living room, as we want to protect the rugs and upholstery. Use only non-metal utensils on nonstick cookware. Do not place wooden or specialty items in the dishwasher. Do not or put culinary knives or pots and pans in the dishwasher.
8. Rug & Flooring Care
We’ve furnished the living and dining areas with high-end wool rugs.
Please clean up any spills immediately to avoid staining or damage.
Food and drinks should be kept away from the rugs.
9. Towel Use
• Please do not use white towels at the beach or for any cleaning.
• Beach towels are provided for your convenience.
• Damaged or stained linens may be subject to replacement fees.
10. Shower Care
To preserve the condition of our glass shower enclosure, please avoid leaning, slamming, and banging on glass and do not slam the shower glass door.
If you’re traveling with children, please supervise their use of the shower.
11. Quiet Hours
Please be considerate of our neighbors and the peaceful nature of this area.
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 6:30 AM. No loud music, parties, or gatherings are permitted during this time.
12. Toilets: Only flush toilet paper…no wipes, paper towels, or hygiene products, even if labeled flushable.
13. Electronics: Do not tamper with wiring, remotes, or settings. If you log into your own streaming accounts, please log out before departure.

Barbecue Use & Safety
We’re happy to provide a barbecue for your enjoyment! For safety and cleanliness, please follow these guidelines:
Safety First:
• Use only in a well-ventilated outdoor area, not under overhangs or near the house.
• Never leave the grill unattended.
• Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
• Use proper grilling utensils and handle with care.
• Do not use during high winds or local fire bans (we’ll let you know if one is in effect).
• Turn off the propane valve (or fuel source) and allow the grill to fully cool after use.
Cleaning Instructions:
• Once cool, clean the grates with the provided grill brush.
• Dispose of any used foil or food scraps in the trash.
• Check and empty the grease trap if needed (cleaning supplies are available under the sink or in the utility area).
If the grill is not working properly or you notice anything unusual (like a gas smell), please do not use it.

Hiking and biking trails located within minutes/miles of home. No need to drive. Tubs Hills and Centennial trail only 12 blocks from home. Boat launch 12 straight blocks. McEuen Park is only 12 straight blocks from home. This beautiful park boasts the city’s largest playground, a colorful splash pad, tennis\pickle ball court, Basketball court, Avista pavilion, restrooms, ice-skating rink in the winter, and a 4-acre grassy area with room to hold events. This park also hosts a boat launch, a trail head for Tubbs Hill. The 60 mile centennial trail that begins at 9 mile Falls in Washington and ends at Higgins Point on Coeur d’Alene Lake runs right through the middle of McEuen park.
