The living room is tastefully decorated. The location is on the edge of a small village a few kilometers from the highway, close enough to be convenient, but with no traffic or noise. "We were the only guests at the chateau. The property is beautiful and the owner very hospitable and welcoming. There are 4 peacocks that roam the chateau grounds which are beautiful. In the morning the owner presented us with a gorgeous breakfast in his chateau dining room which was very elegant. All considered, we would love to stay at Chateau de Chantore again. 5 stars."

"My only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! This Chateau and the grounds are stunning. The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"

"A beautiful, French farmhouse is a lovely quiet location. Breakfast was served early to accommodate our ferry crossing and local restaurants recommended for our evening meal. The hosts don’t speak English but that wasn’t a problem and we’d definitely stay there again."

Mycket vackert restauerat med stora fina rum, mycket sköna sängar och fint badrum. vattenkokare o tilltugg på rummet, traditionell fransk frukost med croissant och kaffe/the. Om något skulle förbättras är det möjligen något mer alternativ till frukosten annars var allt mycket bra. pool utanför som vi tvärr ej hann prova."
