Amazing

Amazing place. We were greeted by the super-friendly staff even before we entered the hotel. We were looking with our kids at their cows in the pasture, and the owner(?) came out and gave our kids food to feed the cows. It was a great start, and it only got better from there. The room was very spacious and clean, the food was amazing, and the location is perfect for hiking in the area. It was simply a wonderful experience.

To reuse the same cloth napkins between dinner and breakfast in the name of eco friendliness is a totally misguided idea. People staying for several nights had the very same napkin set aside for repeated use from meal to meal!!!

Ottima esperienza per un 3 stelle. Buona vista, ottima accoglienza del nostro cane, colazione buona. Da considerare: il parcheggio in garage a pagamento si può evitare (parcheggio libero nella prima fila del piazzale di fronte). Cena al ristorante: se il ristorante è vuoto potete anche evitare di mettere tutte le coppie nei tavoli vicini.Ho sentito tutte le conversazioni degli altri e posticipato cena intima.

Quaint hotel in the middle of Paradisio Park

Hospitable staff, friendy relaxed atmosphere. At the trailhead for several great alpine walks. Good meals and wine at reasonable prices for a remotre location. Best to have a car to get there and to explore the Aosta region.

La Barme -in the middle of all beauty of Valnontey

Very good hotel, especially friendly and helpful service. Good location for the hikers. Definitely would come again, both for the place and for the hotel. I'd like to remind that Valnontey is most easily accessed by own/hired car, not having that I was much helped by the locals and hotel owner in getting to and from Cogne.

Hotel La Barme: friendly staff, good location, and inexpensive

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. The evening meal and breakfast were good value for money. It was very convenient to hire cross-country skis and boots direct from the hotel (inexpensive too), which has a ski locker room and a drying room too. The only negative note was that the jacuzzi was a little chilly (35C).
