I love this hotel, although at full price it is a little pricey. The thought that went into the design is amazing, the staff are really lovely and the location is awesome.

Great place to stay in Coimbra. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The property is fantastic with terrific views, too. There were a couple aggressive panhandlers (beggars) near the property, but we still rate this hotel 5 stars, so we loved it.

The property was very well located to the University area a 12mins walk down! The unique part of the hotel was replicating the books in the Joanina Library in the bathroom areas amazing. The staff were very helpful and cake at the end of the day in the breakfast room was most welcome.

Loved our stay! We can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff and experience was! Joel was so kind and gave us a warm welcome. The room was unique and comfortable. Coimbra is beautiful, but the hotel made the stay phenomenal! Great rooftop to relax and every thing was perfect! Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Everyone was so nice. Breakfast was good. The room was really special. The only problem is parking. If you are driving, there is a really tight parking garage not too far away, but it is not ideal. But I have only good things to say about the actual hotel and staff.

The hotel was great and a bit different with the book themed bathrooms. The breakfast was good and the ability to get drinks and cakes at other times was a nice and useful touch. The location was very central, albeit there were roadworks outside at the time of our visit.

The hotel was beautiful and its decor which was linked to the library was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful, and we loved the rooftop and view . Each member of the staff was also extremely friendly and helpful! This was our favorite hotel in Portugal!

A beautiful hotel in a prime location. We walked the whole city. The library theme in the hotel was amazing and made for an interesting stay. Parking across the river was easy and just a short walk across the bridge after dropping off our luggage.

It was an unique and romantic place to stay. The staff was friendly and eager to help with anything. This is one of our favourite places so far. Bathroom was spacious and had a luxury-feel to it. Breakfast was a bit compact, but thats understandable due to the size of the hotel. Location was great, right next to local shops & restaurants.

This hotel is so cute. We loved how the bathrooms were decorated with "books" to give it the feel of a library. We had lots of fun scanning all the titles and finding the upside down ones. The breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly with multiple languages spoke (always impressive). Would definitely stay again.

The room was very nicely furnished and the bed was a comfortable experience. The hotel could not have a better location for exploring and dining. Certainly the best part of our stay was the warm and helpful staff. This is the place to stay in Coimbra.
