The house is located right on the lake and was a beautiful view to eat breakfast to every morning. Owners were responsive with questions and messages about the property. Highly recommend this stay.

The house was wonderful! Everything was just beautiful and the home is centrally located to explore quite a bit of Vermont. The area is serene and peaceful. You couldn't ask for a quieter spot. The lake view is incredible. I would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Vermont!

Lakeside getaway

This property was beautiful inside and out. The water comes right up to the house and you can hear the waves at night which is so peaceful. It was a quiet location and a great amount of space inside. It was very easy to get in contact with somebody when we needed assistance and I would definitely book this property again!

Beautiful view, constant breeze off the lake made for a lovely and comfortable summer visit. Didn’t need AC, just cracked the windows and let the cross breeze work its magic! Beautiful sunsets, quiet area, perfect spot for grandparents that drove up from the South with 2 corgis. Would love to come back again.

Fun times for UVM graduation

This was a great house for us to stay at to celebrate our son's graduation from UVM. Plenty of room for us, him, aunt & uncle, friend, and dog. We loved the sounds and view of the lake, and found that to be very relaxing. We had a lot of fun playing cards at the big table. The drive into Burlington and UVM was about 20 min, and we had easy access to all the places we wanted to go. We hope to stay here again in the near future.

Colchester Lake House

Amazing location to everything. This is a unique and lovely home with views galore. A few updates needed for the linen. It’s a lake house- we were lucky to be there in September- very few bugs to bother us. I can recommend this as a comfortable place to stay. AND - dog friendly- but we couldn’t bring our pups.

Wonderful rental experience!

I chose this location because it was right on the water, and pet friendly, prerequisites for our vacation choice. The house is beautiful inside; clean, roomy, and perfect for our family size and gathering. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and it could not have been a more memorable experience.
