"We enjoyed a fantastic 2 night trip over the bank holiday weekend. This was a lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated throughout, VERY comfortable beds, very clean. Its in a peaceful location (2 minutes from the Chillingham cattle visitor centre). Our host Mhairi couldn't have been more thoughtful or welcoming during our stay. "I travelled up from London and needed somewhere to stay close to Bamburgh castle. I booked Purdy Lodge. It was close to everywhere I wanted to visit. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and Bamburgh castle. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I have no complaints at all with my stay at Purdy Lodge and will definitely stay again the next time I come to Bamburgh. "
