"I have stayed at this hotel before and had a good experience, which is why I was surprised by the condition of my room during this stay. While the property is relatively new, the room did not appear to have been properly cleaned before my arrival. There was a dirty towel left in the room, stains on the sheets, chips on the floor, and the toilet was not clean. After I called the front desk, staff responded quickly and cleaned the toilet, which I appreciated. However, the stained sheets and debris on the floor remained, making the room feel less clean and comfortable than expected. Based on my previous stays, it seems there may have been changes in management or housekeeping standards. The hotel itself has a lot of potential because it is newer and has been a pleasant place to stay in the past, but cleanliness is an area that needs improvement. Unfortunately, this experience made my stay less enjoyable than previous visits."

"Excellent place to stay and we had to reserve this at the very last minute after our reservation for that night was cancelled due to some plumbing issues at the vacation house. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed in the deluxe studio. It was a two bedroom 2 bath newly remodelled and it was pretty hot when we got in there but within an hour after having the air-conditioners on it was cooled off. Everything was pretty clean. The only downside was that the beds were queen size not king size. It’s definitely off the beaten path out in the country up in the hills."

"Management was intrusive and knocked on our door loudly asking to come in and look for a lost key from the previous tenant. That should have been handled before we were given the room. After a long drive, this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. I let it slide because I was exhausted, but the experience was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here — look elsewhere"

"Our 2-night stay at Lotus House was the perfect escape to relax and unwind. We especially loved sitting on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of birds all around us. The space felt quiet, comfortable, and ideal for disconnecting from the busyness of everyday life. We left feeling refreshed and would definitely stay again!"

"The cabin is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. What made it nicer was that it was very simply, but tastefully decorated. Very nice rugs throughout. Also, the appliances all seemed to be new, or barely used at least. The rooms had small collections of books that were eclectic, and a nice mix of thought provoking and just entertaining. The grounds were all natural and separated from the neighbors so you didn't see the other cabins next door. But we did see several deer several on the days were there. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend the property."
