"Excellent stay. Very quiet and private. The property was very clean, had all of the amenities needed. Very comfortable and homey. The only thing you need to be aware of is that the USPS does not deliver to the address, Amazon will have the post office hold it in Front Royal."

"No pet, several items needed repair. No extra blankets or quilts. Heat wasn't working. Manager communicated well. Finally moved to different rental."

"Great place to stay to catch the northern entrance to Shenandoah. Comfortable beds, great furniture, and easy drive to Front Royal for dining. "

"This was the ideal isolated cabin for our trip to Northern Virginia. It was clean, well laid out, and very well stocked with everything you need. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!"

"The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes....

"All around great experience and beautiful spot!"

"Nice cabin for couples. The bed was comfy and had all basic necessities for making meals. We will definitely stay again."

"Great experience booking and staying. Would absolutely book again!"

"We stayed at this lovely cabin for a few days over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was perfect. It was cozy, comfortable, and spotless…just the right size to feel at home. Natasha, the host, was wonderful. Even while traveling abroad, she communicated quickly and clearly, and we never had any issues reaching her.The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing meals, and every other room had everything we could possibly need. Thank you, Natasha - we’ll definitely be back!"

"Beautiful, well managed property. Quiet lake, rustic log cabin feel with modern amenities."

"Perfect getaway for our family."

"What a find!! Was looking for a place to relax and enjoy my wife’s birthday after taking in a local winery. Foxhole was a great cabin, convenient to home, very modern, w/lots of amenities. We’ll be back."
