You do need a car to get around, the ferries are a good way to get around. I think you need to be fit to go up and down the paths to get to town. Would definitely recommend this property."

"We enjoyed our stay in Maclino, on the hills surrounding the Garda lake. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed. There is easy parking on the street or in front of door (a bit more tricky). It is very safe and relaxing after a day around the more touristic sites of lake Garda. You can easily gather your own food and cook on site, and enjoy the meal on a beautiful terrasse overlooking the lake. "The apartment is spacious and has a fabulous water view. But It is difficult to get into and out of. The great room is a wonderful size, but the ONLY light is a fixture above the table. No floor lamps by sofa and chair. No lighting in kitchen area. There is a washer and drying rack, but no iron; no ironing board. Just not up to VRBO standards. Bottom line: we left 2 days early."

"Appartment well presented. However, the publicity did make us think that the patio area/ balcony faced the swimming pool and lake. On reading the print it did say it faced the mountains - but omitted to comment that you mainly looked onto a car park and other appartments/ accommodation. Somewhat annoying that there is allocated parking available (underground) which we were shown by the local representative/ contact - but we were unable to use. Instead we had to pay Euro7.20 a day to park...

"Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage in dieser Anlage. Unser "Wohnzimmer" war die Terrasse zum Innenhof, die selbst in der Mittagszeit genügend Schatten liefert. Die Wohnung selbst hat nur nach vorne hin (Wohn-Ess-Küchenbereich) Fenster. In der sehr heißen Zeit, in der wir dort waren, sind die Temperaturen durch diese die Lage angenehm geblieben. Die Wände zu den Schlafräumen sind nicht ganz bis zum hohen Gewölbe hochgezogen, was den Vorteil hat, dass auch in die anderen Räume Licht/Luft...
