The room was okay. Bed was the best part because it was comfortable. TV barely worked. Was almost impossible to use. Staff were okay as well. Not the most polite but at least somewhat helpful. Parking wasn’t ideal. I had to park somewhere else temporarily because I needed a code to get into the parking. Why not just have a ticket and validation system for guests. Breakfast was cheap (€13) but very basic. No sausages or anything warm. Coffee was tasty.

Nice stay

Booked for visiting Cologne for the Euros to support Scotland. While expensive, giving it was during the Euros it was reasonably priced compared to other similar hotels and suited us. Good for transport options to the City centre. Modern, clean room with comfy bed and hot shower. Staff friendly on booking in. Made for an enjoyable stay.

Good value, well located hotel, comfortable rooms

Stayed two nights. Comfortable room, decent night's sleep, on fifth floor. Check in was not as smooth as I would have hoped, staff member seemed rather grumpy and not all that helpful. Other staff encountered were complete opposite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was reasonably priced and good selection available. Hotel is located about 10 minutes ride from the centre of the city on the S-Bahn, which is about 10 minutes walk. I would say this is a good choice for a couple of nights stay, reasonable price for what it is and if you want a comfortable, no frills hotel, within easy reach of the city centre, then this is ideal.

What we needed for two nights

Roadworks outside meant we couldn’t access the car park. Had to ask the workman if we could enter and they made way. Would have been nice to be told beforehand. Lady on desk said we couldn’t get access. Rooms are compact for 4 of us but clean and well equipped. Air con isn’t very strong but helped a bit.

Cheap and cheerful

Cham and basic accommodation. I had a terrible smell in the bathroom but despite reporting it never got attended too. The self check didn't work when it came to paying the local tax so had to wait for staff. You get what you pay for

The pillows and duvets had a distinct smell (mouldy/sour) probably because they didn’t dry properly. I have never experienced this before at a hotel, you need to wash them properly and let the tumble dry.
