The property is very close to the Hauptbanhof, Rhine River and DOM. Staff was very friendly and the property was clean. Not the nicest neighborhood but a very traditional German Urban hotel.

Clean room. Very nice staff. Convenient location, close to train station and shops and restaurants. My room didn’t have a toilet inside but it did have one in the hallway. If it wasn’t for that, I would have rated this hotel excellent instead of good.

Minimal, But Updated and Clean Property

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The rooms were updated and well-appointed. There is no lift so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Shared bathrooms were clean and we generally didn't have any problems having access to them (did have to go to a bathroom on a different floor once or twice). We would stay again.

Although the location was excellent, the property itself was very basic. Sharing a bathroom/toilet with the rest of the floor not very nice. Did not help as temperature was 30deg, no air con or fans on offer. It was however very cheap, so you get what you pay for.

Only 6 minutes walking distance from Cologne Central station, super comfortable bed (best nights' sleep I've had), good shower pressure, all in all would highly recommended. Would have been good to have kettle and tea making facilities in the room but there was a hot water dispenser in the reception (which I didn't use).
