Good value budget hotel. Great location, next to another Ibis and Radisson Blu hotel. The only thing we missed in our rooms was a kettle but there is hot water in the breakfast area.

Great location if you are coming for FIBO trade Show. 5 minute walk. Pretty quiet and peaceful and night, although highway is very close by. Strongly recommend!

It's nice and convenient for a short stay. The rooms are quite small, and mine looked like it had a leak from the shower. It's not close to many of the attractions in Cologne, but transportation is easily reached from the hotel.

Perfect hotel when you are attending a show at the Lanxess Arena. The area made us feel safe even though we got back pretty late. We woke up during the night cause someone was screaming/ laughing really loud but we called the reception and someone said they will come and take a look from which room it was coming. Which was handled perfectly in our opinion. Not the quietest but completely fine for a night.

Not Suitable for Families

I recently stayed at IBIS budget hotel and was very disappointed with my experience. Unfortunately, there were a few aspects of the hotel that made my stay less than satisfactory. Firstly, I was surprised to find out that the hotel required a deposit for the use of a hairdryer. This seemed unusual to me, as hairdryers are a standard amenity in most hotels. Additionally, the bathroom lacked any sort of curtain or door, which made it quite awkward and uncomfortable for my family. This lack of privacy was a major inconvenience and made the bathroom feel very exposed. Finally, the room itself was incredibly small, with barely enough space to move around. This made it difficult to unpack and relax, and it felt quite cramped, especially with my family. Overall, I would not recommend IBIS budget hotel for families or anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The lack of privacy in the bathroom, the deposit required for a hairdryer, and the cramped room made for a disappointing experience.
