Great place to stay! Easy to get to and situated within walking distance of a train station that allows access to the city. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful with how to get around Cologne. We got a family room that was large, clean, and very comfortable. Beds were comfortable and in room amenities (coffee/tea) were replenished each day. Would totally stay again!

Great value for money

Frankly, a complete positive surprise. Perhaps not a fancy area (not dirty or dangerous or something, just totally boring), but easy accessible, parking available, large rooms, spotlessly clean, friendly service. Two restaurants very close (cafe del sol, also extremely friendly people there!!). Ideal for a family on the way. We got an unbeatable price!!

We waren voor de tweede keer in dit hotel, zo goed was het bevallen! Je bent in 20min met het ov, wat op 7min lopen vanaf het hotel is, in Keulen om de prachtige Dom te bekijken. De kamers zijn schoon en netjes

Das Hotel präsentiert sich in einem sehr sauberen und gepflegten Zustand. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich, komfortabel und vermitteln einen angenehmen Gesamteindruck. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen des Hauses. In den Abend- und Nachtstunden kann es jedoch etwas lauter werden, da sich in der Gegend auch eine Eventhalle befindet. Insgesamt bietet das Hotel ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eignet sich sowohl für Geschäftsreisende als auch für Gäste, die eine lebendige Atmosphäre schätzen.

Hébergement propre et calme ! Un peu loin du centre-ville certes, mais cela n’est pas dérangeant car le tram est à proximité (environ 10 minutes à pied). L’avantage également, c’est qu’il y a un parking gratuit inclus ! Le personnel est chaleureux et accueillant. Petit point à améliorer : les douches. Malheureusement, la fente d’évacuation de l’eau n’est pas suffisamment large et l’eau coule un peu en dehors.

Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Betten sind gemütlich. Die Gegend ist ein bisschen abgelegen, jedoch geeignet wenn man Ruhe bevorzugt. Nicht allzu weit entfernt gibt es auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Verpflegung und co. Es gibt zu dem kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten.

Inconsistent Treatment at the Palast

This is obviously a hotel aimed at business customers, which is fine. The room was comfortable, though the fittings in the bathroom had not been the best maintained. The receptionist was very helpful when we arrived. We were disappointed at the first breakfast we booked. I ate a normal breakfast, though never have a hot drink. My wife joined me later and had only a cup of tea. The staff at the hotel insisted that we had consumed two breakfasts and charged €15 each. Our argument that my wife could have had a free cup of the same tea in the room was completely ignored. The member of staff rudely insisted that we paid for two breakfasts. We therefore went to a local bakery for our breakfast the next day, which was cheaper for us and the hotel lost the potential breakfast charge. A shame.
