Jacobia Lakefront Retreat is all about comfort, relaxation, and unique amenities that will make your stay as breezy as possible - you won't have to worry about anything here. Featuring plenty of outdoor living space, your stress will melt away the second you step inside this family-friendly abode. You'll have one furnished deck on each floor. The first-floor deck is the ideal place to lounge after mealtime as it comes equipped with a set of comfortable seats and even a hammock and the second-level deck features the main outdoor dining space plus unbelievable Lake Michigan views. Kayaks, SUPS, life jackets, and sand toys are all provided for use during your stay. Inside, this convenient home away from home features a well-equipped kitchen with all the cooking essentials to whip up anything from full-course meals to quick snacks, a private washer/dryer so you and your crew won't have to worry about finding a laundromat or carrying a bag of change with you at all times, and a well-furnished living area with a smart TV with cable and a wood stove that will keep you all nice and warm no matter the season you visit. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Our Favorite Place

This remains our favorite place to stay. We love the view. The lake is beautiful. I could sit on that balcony all day long. The house and decor are great. It's close enough to St. Joseph to do things there if you want to do that.

This was just whst we needed.

The house had the most beautiful views. It was very clean and we were supplied with everything we needed. The beach area was perfect. We had paddle boards, floats, and chairs provided. We just had to bring the fun. I"d return in a heartbeat.

We were blown away by this house! The house was extremely clean when we arrived and appreciated the extra towels and toiletries. But the best part was the outdoor spaces, lake views and direct lake access. Our family of 4 (and pup) had the best time and can’t wait to come back!

Gorgeous Sunsets !

This home was very clean. The views were spectacular! From the top deck of the house, the fire pit, the deck with the chairs to the deck down on the beach. We so enjoyed this home! We used the gas grill for cooking burgers one night. Went to Di Maggio’s just down the street for excellent pizza and some drinks. Had a great time celebrating my 65th birthday at Jacobia!!!

Location and privacy can’t be beat

Amazing private beach with all the amenities needed to enjoy swimming and water sports. Clean and comfortable house with a fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook and lots of outdoor space to enjoy dinner and drinks outside. Some frustrations dealing with a property management company - I wish they would assign a trip specialist that we could reach out to rather than contacting a different person each time but overall a great property and experience. Will be back!

House was exactly as described. What a bonus to find paddle boards, a kayak, plentiful firewood, etc at the house. The location couldn't be better and the home had everything we needed for our stay. The pictures just don't do it justice. At night, with the deck lights, serene sounds of the lake.. the vibe is all any of us could've asked for!

Just what we were looking for!

We wanted a house on the beach where we could bring our dog. We hoped for privacy, access to the water, a great view for sunsets, and a home base where we would enjoy having coffee in the morning and cooking dinner at night. We got all of this! Along with an easy drive to South Haven, a fire pit in the yard, and multiple spots to relax and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend! *Note that the house water has a strong sulphur smell—nothing wrong with it, just strong if you are sensitive to smells, so it surprised us. We did love our stay here! Thank you for sharing this slice of beautiful beach and lake!

Our second time staying at Jacobia. Very clean and plenty of supplies. Love that it is dog friendly and we had plenty firewood which we appreciate very much. It’s easy getting down to beach, has low bluff. There are excellent places to sit with great views. Few negatives were host/property manager I contacted about how much firewood told me I would have to pay $8 a bundle, but there was plenty not bundled. Also asked if coffee maker was a kuerig or drip, and was told kuerig, but it was a drip. Not the end of the world but bought k-cups to bring on trip. Host should know details of the property before answering incorrectly. Also the couch is extremely old and broken down.

Our stay at Jacobia was awesome! Terrible weather, but take what you get. The views are outstanding, very clean house. Lovely and numerous areas to sit outside. Steps to beach very duable. Steps inside were a bit much since main living area is up. If you are older/senior age you might want to take that into account. We also have older dog and he would not climb the stairs. My only true complaint is coffee maker was not working very well and cheap. We found a Keurig and it was basically broken. So that was a disappointment. Overall still give 5 stars and would come back!!!

My husband and I have stayed at quite a few vacation rentals and this one was BY FAR the most fully stocked with every possible amenity. My favorite was the inflatable chairs for relaxing on the water! We HIGHLY recommend this property!

This home is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped for families. The downstairs is ideal for parents, kids, and even their friends, thanks to a spacious bunk room that comfortably sleeps six. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom with a private en suite makes a great retreat for in-laws or another couple if you're sharing the space. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and a wide beach that offers plenty of spots beyond the sand to relax and take it all in. Everything about our stay was perfect—we’ll definitely be back!
