Though there is no yard, the multi deck space, clean lake water, double kitchen, comfy beds and close grocery store alllll make up for that! The kids lived in the water and love that the end of the pier has DEEP water for cannon balls and diving.

Separate areas up and down allow for plenty of space. Each has kitchen, bath, and bedrooms. Clean and well kept.

The Paw Paw Lake home was a perfect fit for our long weekend family visit. With the two separate living areas we had plenty of room to enjoy. A perfect location just minutes away from Coloma, Watervliet and the surrounding are. Ethan thank you for the wonderful weekend stay we really enjoyed the house.

The property met our needs for bed/bath space. The microwave in the upstairs kitchen didn't work and the water filter in the frig needed to be changed but otherwise it was a nice place to rest and relax.

Enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. Great communication from owner, very pleased. Rental is very clean, comfortable and the "snack basket" gave a welcoming feel. So much room for our large family to gather, inside and out. Ending the night at the fire table and over looking the lake, perfect! Looking forward to staying again, next summer.

I booked this house for my family (four adults) for their stay during our wedding weekend. They loved recharging at the house and enjoyed the patio/decks facing the lake. The split of the house across the upstairs and downstairs worked great for them as well. The neighborhood was nice and the neighbors were friendly. The property was clean, as shown in the pictures and as described in the listing. Communication with the owner via Vrbo app was great; with communication leading up to the stay, and clear instructions for check-in and check-out. My family would recommend the lake house and stay again!

Stayed at this Paw Paw Lake house for a bachelor party in June 2023. Overall was a great place to host a big group. The 2 kitchens are super handy - 1 for cooking and the other for hanging out and playing cards. We also enjoyed the huge deck out back which had plenty of furniture and a nice grill for burgers and brats.
Only 2 things I would recommend to improve :
1. A fire pit area would be a major plus for those chilly nights
2. The dock could use some reinforcing as it gets a little wobbly as you walk out toward the end.
Overall a great place with a very accommodating and responsive host!

The house’s interior is nicely updated with two kitchens which made it nice for our families. We were able to use the dock for the pontoons we rented. The weather during our stay was 90°+ the whole extended weekend. The A/C did struggle to keep the upstairs at a cooler/comfortable temperature. We were a little surprised at the upkeep of the yard, specifically the front yard when you first pull up. It was very unkept looking. Thankfully, the interior did not match and exceeded the first impression. The deck in the photos made it look brand new but it was a little weathered in person but still in good shape. The host was fantastic! Extremely responsive and accommodating! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay but had a few issues. The hot tub was green (owner had it looked at the second day of our trip then again the last full day of our trip) and the upstairs shower knob was missing so we couldn’t use it until a new one was installed (fixed the third day of our five night stay). The upstairs bedroom with the trundle bed was very dusty (thick layer of dust on trundle bed and underneath it) and the shower curtains in both bathrooms were full of mildew and some mold. Some other issues were minimal toilet paper, microwave buttons (downstairs) not working, and a broken blender (owner sent a replacement that we got on the third day). Even though we had some issues, the place was spacious and had all amenities listed. We enjoyed the adventure shed with the lily pad, kayaks, and paddle board (additional cost) and the owner was pretty responsive with communication.

We had to spend the first day washing all the bedding, as each of the beds had dirt and black hairs all over them. Dirty towels were left on the back of the door. The hot tub had dirt in it and was so cloudy when we arrived. The grill was completely rusted out and falling apart. There wasn't enough toilet paper or paper towels for our 4-night stay. The closet door was off the tracks when we arrived. Additionally, we had to pay extra for the kayaks and paddleboard, but there weren't enough paddles for all the kayaks. However, the house was in a perfect location.

We had a family reunion at Paw Paw Lake and had a wonderful time swimming in the lake and going on our rented pontoon. The house is situated in a quiet canal that leads to the lake, so we were able to use the rented kayaks on a smooth surface. The three decks provided ample space for everyone. Because the rooms are lake-facing, everyone went onto the decks through one of the bedrooms on the top floor and another one on the bottom floor as they lead directly to the deck. This was no problem for us, but it caused a lack a privacy for the people in these rooms. There is a door from the kitchen on the top floor, but the path to the deck is steep and overgrown. I would recommend bringing extra toilet paper as we did because there was just one extra roll. As you see I. Previous reviews, the owner provides a starting supply of tp. Lastly, the kitchen had just about every type of pan and utensil you could ever need. The two fridges came in handy as well.

The house is right on a large channel of Paw Paw Lake. The views from two of the bedrooms were great, and the deck space looked great even though we didn’t use it due to it being winter. The house also had two kitchens, which was great. I would suggest updating the TVs if you’re only going to offer streaming. The wi-fi antennas in the TVs have to be old. We tested speeds and our devices, but the TVs were hard to watch football on, which was a major part of the holiday season for us. It probably isn’t an issue for seasons where you’re outside. Finally, it could have been cleaner (found dirty towels behind bathroom door, rugs in laundry room had leaves on it, and the baseboards were dirty with cobwebs and women’s hair on the door. I only mention this because VRBO cleaning fees are more than I pay for my own house, and I believe the properties should reflect that someone spent a few hours cleaning. If the cleaning fee was like $50, I’d say it was fine.
