"The room was very clean. Had all your basic amenities. Everything you’d need to feel comfortable during your stay. The staff is incredibly friendly & welcoming. They were helpful with any questions we had & recommending food & activities in the area. The animals on the property were an added bonus. Very sweet dog, cat & donkey that you can also interact with. The breakfast was traditional Costa Rican style. Eggs, rice & beans, plantains, with a side of toast & fresh fruit. Overall the property was very homey & peaceful. A lot of love was put into the property. I would definitely stay again! "

"Our first night was ok. The AC unit didn't work very well but it stayed cool enough to sleep. The 2nd night however was not good. The AC unit stopped working all together. Went down to reception and they brought up a small air cooler but it wasn't working either and the maintenance guy said he was going to tell his boss what was going on and would be back. After 30 min he never returned. I went down and talked to security and the security guy told me that the maintenance guy had told him if I come looking for him to let him know that he had done all he could that we just needed to report it in the morning. That didn't help that night when the room was. 86°. Fahrenheit and no AC. What really set me off was the guy saying he was going to talk to his boss and would be back and then just leaving because it was time for him to leave and not even bothering to come back to tell us anything just left us sitting there. That's unacceptable."
