"Sorry, I wanted to give a better review, but there weren't many people staying at the Banana Leaf. I think I was only guest, or 1 of 2 guests. When I rolled up to hotel some people were negotiating with manager to stay there because they've been living in their car. So, nobody else was there but I already had paid for the room on Hotels.com because it looked like the best hotel as close to Orlando Fairgrounds for the Job Fair that I could get. Everything was fine except I thought I was only one staying there. It was too quiet at 1st. So, I drove around city somewhat then came back around 9pm. Then, when I tried to fall asleep at 11:30, it was quiet except for the I-4 Expressway which you couldn't hear unless a big truck or loud car came by. They drove by a lot all night. Also, I guess the other person pulled up to hotel front door which was next to my Room #1 and were talking loudly and it was a long 30–40-minute conversation. I don't know if they were staying at hotel or just looking for a quiet place to talk. I didn't get much sleep (only about 3-4 hours) and while rest of night was quiet enough, I slept in to 9am. It felt weird though and I left around 10am. If they hotel is usually vacant for long periods, that is something I would like to know on Hotels.com prior to booking. The info on Hotels.com is NOT updated. It's just a depository for any hotel with a license. You gave me a discount, but I should've called property days before I booked while there. Do Better."

"The property was in a very run down and unsafe area. I was not comfortable once I actually drove to the property and ended up making other arrangements. The VRBO post did not accurately show the area and the level of comfort or safety one should expect. And when we made the decision it was not safe to stay there, the host was completely unwilling to work with me to recover any of our spend. I am encouraging you think very hard about this property. There was no way to know what you were getting till you arrive, and we didn’t even go in the house as the area was not conducive to family stays, in my opinion. Houses boarded up next store and homes with overgrown yards and broken down boats on the street. Extremely disappointed with the property and the way it was handled ."

"This home was a great place to stay for our three days at Universal Studios. The location made it easy to get to and from the parks. The home was clean, comfortable and quiet. The only suggestion we have is better and more towels. The bathrooms did not have hand towels, nor were extra wash cloths or towels available. All in all, though, we were very happy with our stay. "

"The ad say it sleeps 3 people. There was 2 towels and half a roll of toilet paper. I had to message him through the app and text numerous times to get info on how to checkin.Sheets/blankets were dirty. All of the dishes in the diswasher were dirty.We ended up adding an extra 2 people at the last minute and before I could even say anything to him about it he already knew because apparently he had been watching through the cameras.He was ok with this but charged 200 extra dollars...seems like alot considering the average is 20-40 more per person usually. He lives in the back yard in a camper...we felt like we were being watched through the windows. He parked in the driveway so we had to pull behind him...he woke us up at 6am banging on the doors to move our vehicle. The ad doesnt say anything about he parks there so dont park behind him...we were there fornthe festival and got in late so we had to park behind him. The tvs didnt work. The bathrooms floods. Its by far the worst place Ive stayed through VRBO. All this but still has the audacity to leave a tip jar. Smh"
