Spectacular, private mountain getaway with an unbelievable view of Pikes Peak on 6-acres that combines open space, mountain views, and pine trees. The View from Woodland Park sits directly on the Centennial Trail. Situated in nature while only 3 miles to the heart of quaint Woodland Park and an picturesque 18-mile drive from Colorado Springs. Whether you want to relax at a private mountain retreat or stay conveniently in the heart of the southern range of the Rocky Mountains - it's perfect!

Our property is about 3.4 miles north of the Hwy 24/Hwy 67 intersection in the heart of Woodland Park. We have plenty of parking available on property including 2 stall detached garage and an RV parking spot (with hookups).

The recently renovated home is a perfect spacious, home base for your adventures in Teller County and the greater Colorado Springs area. Situated on a picturesque 6-acres, this 3,000 square foot home has plenty of elbow room inside and out. Easily sleeps 8 (beds) with two large couches for extra room. Two family rooms and two large tables make it perfect for groups with kids. Spacious bedrooms and access to washer and dryer on the lower level.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash

Leave bedding on beds. Our cleaning team will remove them and take them offsite for cleaning. Do not put comforters in washing machines.
Do not leave any trash in the home or garages. Take all trash to the blue dumpster. Remote and replace the bear bar once you have placed trash in the dumpster.

Absolutely beautiful

The house was ideally set just outside of town and the views didn't disappoint. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and the dog enjoyed being able to roam around. We would absolutely stay again.

Lovely property, fantastic view

The house is new and beautifully decorated, with granite countertops and Colorado art throughout. Beds were comfy, table was nice and large enough for our group (8 people.) The view of Pikes Peak and surrounding mountains is incredible! Would definitely stay there again!

This house was great. Secluded, beautiful scenery and quiet. Perfect for me and my friends 3-day vacation. The house had lots of features but could probably use a little maintenance. Light bulbs were starting to out and the fire pit didn’t work - really just minor stuff though. Other than that we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend for someone wanting a break from the city.

Parents weekend getaway 2023

This was a great place for the family to converge as we celebrated our USAFA cadet’s last parent’s weekend. We got to enjoy the peace of the mountains, enjoy some great meals together and use the house as our base camp for our excursions during the day. Thanks for the hospitality!

Loved this house!!

From the moment we got there we loved this house! It was just perfect for the 6 of us. It is also in a really great location and we're going to miss the beautiful view of Pikes Peak. There were deer in the yard the day we got there. We would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic winter wonderland weekend

Property was exactly as presented but the view could not be adequately described, it was breathtaking. Easy drive from Colorado Springs and so close to Woodland park but private and secluded. Enjoyed the hot tub and the snow and was able to charge up my car on property. Kitchen had everything we needed. Will plan on staying again. 5 out of 5!

Great Family gathering

Overall this was an awesome place. Had tons of space for the 2 families that shared the house (4 adults 4 kids). It was walking distance to red rocks and Troutman creek, both are worth while hikes when going with younger kids (4-8 yrs old). We enjoyed having a dishwasher to help clean up after meals and 2 separate living rooms. We spent 90% of our time at the house out front taking in the view and playing corn hole. We are already talking about a return visit.

Wonderful stay!

House was fantastic. We had 7 people and we all had our own separate space. House was clean and well taken care of. Everyone loved all the amenities, ping pong, games, fire pit, and the hot tub. Wife and I loved the master bath. Views every morning was great sitting on the porch drinking coffee and also seeing the hummingbirds play around or the deer walking through. Great location with only a 30 min drive to most attractions. If you are hesitant on booking this property, book it now you won't be disappointed.

Family Trip 2024

The view from the front of the house was amazing. Our family enjoyed the large space and the hot tub the most. We had a couple of problems, but the owner was quick to reply. My only issue is that we were unable to use the fire pit. It had obviously been used as a wood burning pit for quite some time. We tried to clean out all of the wood and ashes, but it still wouldn’t stay lit when trying to use as a gas pit as designed.

The View at Woodland Park

Had one of the best experience renting this beautiful home. . Really appreciate frequent updates as to what are the attractions around the area. Kim always response to my questions right away. But mostly the house is fully equipped with stuff you need. The area is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The hot tub is awesome. So many things to enumerate. All in all we have a great experience and would love to come back:)

Wish we could stay forever!

My family - my husband and I, grown kids, and 8 year old granddaughter, LOVED our time at Kim’s house! It is spacious and has everything we needed. The ping-pong table, fire pit, and hot tub were all a big hit with everyone! I wondered how noise would travel between floors but it wasn’t an issue at all! The guys could be up playing ping-pong at midnight and we didn’t even hear it upstairs! Kim replied promptly when I had a question and was great to work with! We definitely plan to come back! Thanks Kim and family!

Week Stay in September

We had an excellent stay this past week celebrating my in - Laws 50th anniversary. The View was spectacular. We got prompt response and a fox on the only issue we dealt with during the week. Only recommendation would to add a shower-head /handheld combo for the smaller master bed/ bathroom. Due to the shower being so small it’s hard to get a direct rinse or to shower without getting your hair wet due to the angle and lack of movement of current shower head. Otherwise this was an outstanding stay, would definitely recommend and even consider using again for future stays. And did I mention the view .. absolutely beautiful!

house review

We stayed at the house Feb. 18-21 and found many positive aspects of the house. The location was great, (somewhat isolated and great hiking near by), the view of Pikes Peak was outstanding, the house was roomy and comfortable, the hot tub (with lots of towels) and the fire pit were great, and the pantry was well stocked with basic cooking supplies. The dog room was very nice. House information was great with videos to explain everything; I have never seen that before. One concern is that after we arrived I received a communication that the dishwasher was broken and we would receive a $10.00 refund per night for this. At first this sounded nice, but washing dishes by hand for eight people after each meal was cumbersome and time consuming. On top of that we could only find one dish towel to dry the dishes and there was not a sponge or cleaning cloths. We did go into Woodland Park to get what we needed. We made sure all the dishes were washed before we left. A small point we noticed was that the water filter in the refrigerator door needed to be replaced. When we arrived my wife noticed the closet door in the basement bedroom was broken and hanging partially loose. My wife did contact the owner and we got an immediate response that they were aware of this. I was surprised that in a house this nice, the door had not been repaired. I did not check this, but I was told there was not a towel rack or a way to hang up your towel in the basement bathroom. I am aware this house is in the mountains, but the fastest internet speed we got was 12 MB/S. Using the internet for work or just for entertainment was difficult. Overall this is a good house and we enjoyed our time. With a few small fixes, this could be a great house. Stephen Wall

Outstanding

I've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this home is at the top of my list! It's located outside of town on several acres so you have privacy, but it's an easy 5 minute drive to the grocery store if you need something. The view is amazing and the house is spotless clean. If you have any questions Kim is extremely responsive and friendly. Woodland Park is a quiet little town but there are so many things to do in the area and it's a quick drive to Manitou Springs or Colorado Springs if you are looking for shopping. We had a group of 5 adults and had plenty of room for everyone and room to spare. I highly recommend staying at Kim's place and I hope to return next year!

Excellent place to stay!

This was a great place to stay for our family. We met for Thanksgiving week and loved the stay here. Great house! Great views of Pikes Peak and great location! We loved the house and so many extras and amenities! We will be back and just loved it! Owner was also great to respond to any questions we had during the week. Great choice for us!
